I keep getting the blue screen of death. Everytime I keep checking for it, it won't let me run any updates. There is a missing .dll file.

I had a Folder with over 1000 Files in it. I accidentally deleted it and had issues recovering all the Files. I did a System Restore thinking it would bring them back but it didn't. Now when I try to Recover the Folder with the Files, the Folder doesn't even appear. Would they still be on my Hard drive? And is there anyway yo get all the Files back.

My computer will not turn on. The light was already on so I accidentally shut if off without a proper shut down, and now it won't turn on at all. It could be a problem with my power supply. I have a HP Pavilion Desktop running Windows XP.
