I have a large colonial house and the 2nd floor is being heated by heat pump. Each level is about 1700 square feet. The 1st level is fine but I would like to explore putting in 2nd furnace in my garage for the 2nd floor. You would have to reroute the gas line form basement to garage, but it should be straightforward. I would then need the duct work to be connected to the existing 2nd floor system.
