looking for a plumber who can repair a shower that is not producing hot water It may be a water heater issue or not

Need an estimate on a new water heater Remove and replace Current one works on gas and is 40 gallons in our basement Needs to service 2 showers and 6 sinks Not clear to me what the tradeoff is between cost and performance We have a limited budget

Our basement started flooding yesterday and we think it is linked to the drainage pipes since when one of the upstairs showers is on it causes more water to come out in the basement The toilet and shower on the basement floor do not cause the same problem Please help ASAP
